Hello and welcome to my blog! 

My name is Sinmisola Olasoji (nee Nojimu-Yusuf), but most of my friends call me Sinmisola NY. I’m an unapologetic optimist, heavy on my faith in Jesus, skilled in most things marketing, and passionate about Africa’s growth. I currently live in Lagos, Nigeria, and I created this blog in 2015 as a safe space to share my musings, interests, and reflections as I journey.

I believe that I’m here on earth at the pleasure of His Majesty the King, and His Will is what drives me. I am still figuring out who I want to be when I grow up; however, I’m currently building a marketing career in the technology industry #TechBae. What’s most important to me is doing magical work that genuinely makes a difference to both users and the bottom line (If you know, you know).

My favorite person on earth is my Husband – Tobi. I’m 1000% committed to enjoying my life. Sometimes enjoying my life means traveling the world and other times, it’s the little things like enjoying a hot cup of tea in a dim-lit room with airways infiltrated with sweet-smelling candles and a good book.
